The author/researcher/designer of the books The Poor House & County Farm of Cannon County, TN along with Murder, Moonshine & General Mayhem in Shotgun County , Searching for Emily - A Compilation of Black History Records for Cannon County, TN and Men of Justice - The Lawmen of Cannon County, TN​ as well as the fictional book The Last Stand - An Apocalyptic Romance​ with its companion book ​Apocalyptic Survival - The Beginner's Guide to the End,​ Cannon County, TN Merchants and The Ten O'Clock Scholar - A History of Cannon County, TN Schools. ​ ​Becky is the daughter of Robert (Bobby) & Peggy (Donegan) Snipes and the older sister of Brian Snipes. She was born and raised in Cannon County where she continues to live with her husband, Shawn Murray.
